Plantronics Voyager 510S Office Headset System Awarded 'Best Hardware
Product' at 2005 CompTIA CT Summit
SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Aug. 22, 2005 -- Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today announced that the Plantronics 510S Office Headset System won the "Best Hardware Product" award at this year's CompTIA CT Summit conference, a show dedicated to advancing the growth of the information technology industry and those working within it, held August 3-5, 2005 in Las Vegas. This marks the second straight year that Plantronics has won this category.
The CompTIA CT Summit award winners were selected based on the voting of more than 200 VIP value-added resellers who participated at the conference. The voters selected Plantronics and the 510S Headset System for demonstrating creativity and innovation in hardware product development.

The Plantronics 510S Office Headset System is a multipoint Bluetooth® system that provides business professionals with a single wireless headset to seamlessly switch between office phones and voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phones, laptops and PDAs. The Voyager 510 headset features noise-canceling technology to reduce ambient background noise and provides up to six hours of talk time. The Voyager Plantronics 510S Office Headset System has a suggested retail price of US $299.95 and will be available in September through Plantronics resellers, retail stores and at www.plantronics.com.
