This Midland weather radio is powerful and extremely flexible. You can choose exactly what warnings you want, and how to receive them. Want warnings only for a certain type of weather? Want to choose between an alert siren, flashing LED light, or voice message? The WR-300 can do it. And while it's watching out for your safety, it also functions as an AM/FM clock radio with snooze button.
Once you look up your SAME code at the National Weather Service web page, the WR-300 can be set to give you local warnings only.
